I work with couples and individuals.  In my practice, I offer assistance to people who are:
  • Depressed - i.e., feeling down and depleted, tired with little energy,  little or no pleasure, despair and hopelessness;
  • Anxious, overwhelmed, or stressed;
  • Experiencing angst, uneasiness, apprehensiveness;
  • Concerned about possible addiction to a substance or behavior;
  • Suffering with a severe or terminal physical illness;
  • Concerned about how problematic features of their personality or troublesome patterns of behavior touch many areas of their lives (job, relationships, health), and cause suffering for self and others;
  • Angry or sad, and uncertain about the origin of the anger or sadness;
  • Experiencing pain from childhood experiences such as growing up with neglectful, self-absorbed, or drug/alcohol abusing parents, or from physical, sexual, emotional, and verbal abuse;
  • Burdened with having experienced profound psychological trauma, such as war, physical/sexual abuse, or violence;
  • Experiencing difficulties with intimacy in relationships;
  • Struggling with a significant relationship or marriage;
  • Having, or working through the aftermath of, an affair;
  • Contemplating or experiencing divorce or break up;
  • Undergoing relational difficulties with parents, siblings, friend, or colleagues;
  • Struggling with grief from the loss of someone or something you loved;
  • Experiencing a significant life-change, such as a recent move, new relationship, new baby, new job, or college;
  • Concerned with sexuality or gender identification;
  • Having difficulty with career or work life;
  • Stuck, at an impasse, or trapped in a particular situation;
  • In a midlife crisis and feeling lost;
  • Not experiencing life as meaningful, satisfying, or pleasurable;
  • Desiring cultivation of their authentic voice and individuality; and,
  • Seeking deeper meaning and purpose in life.
